Each month members of the Executive Committee represent ASSITEJ around the world by giving seminars, lectures, acting, directing, assisting conferences, attending festivals etc. This is where they have been in November:
Yvette Hardie, President, attended 1st meeting of the Azerbaijan National Centre of ASSITEJ on 3 of November at the Young Spectators Theatre of Azerbaijan.
Ivica Simic, Secretary General, is directing two versions of The Parachutists for Song Song Song Theatre from Taiwan and Mingri Theatre for Hong Kong in Taipei, Taiwan, by 13th of November.
Kim Peter Kovac, Vice-President, will be in New York, November 11-14 seeing RAW Dance company from Australia at the New Victory theatre, meeting with three New Visions/New Voices project leaders, and attending a memorial for Nancy Swortzell, who co-founded the Program in Educational theatre at New York University.
Noel Jordan, Treasurer, will be in Sydney, November 13-16 for the Theatre Space Symposium at Sydney Opera House - the culmination of a 4 year research project interviewing young people about their theatre going habits. Is also attending the Awesome Festival in Perth from November 24-27.
Marisa Gimenez Cacho attended a National Theatre Festival in Campeche, Mexico, from November 4th to 8th. Afterwards is traveling to Kennedy Center in Washington D.C from November 9th to 14th.
Imran Khan attended Dramatic Arts centre in Hamadan, Iran from 5th -12th of November.

III ATINA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL SCHOOLYARD STORIES Theatre for Young People
The III ATINA International Festival – “Schoolyard Stories”, dedicated to theatre for young people, took place on 11-15 October 2011 in Buenos Aires City. More than 1500 teenagers attended to the 21 performances of the 10 shows from Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Mexico.
2nd INTERNATIONAL THEATRE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE RESEARCHERS AND CRITICS FORUM A project of ASSITEJ International
“Teatro del Mundo” Award (Buenos Aires University)
The Theatre for Children and Young People Independent Practitioners Association (ATINA- Argentina), in collaboration with the Theatre Researchers and Critics Association (AINCRIT- Argentina), and the International Theatre for Young Audiences Research Network (ITYARN), organize the 2nd International Theatre for Children and Young People Researchers and Critics Forum, with the aim of encouraging the development of research in the field of theatre for children and young people in Argentina and around the world.

AZERBAIJAN NATIONAL CENTRE OF ASSITEJ HAD ITS 1ST MEETING
Children and Youth Theatre under the subordination of the UNESCO hosted the 1st meeting of the Azerbaijan National Centre of ASSITEJ on November 03 2011 at the Young Spectators Theatre of Azerbaijan.

AWARDS GRANTED AT THE 14TH FESTIVAL OF PROFESSIONAL THEATRE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE OF ASSITEJ CROATIA
On 21 October 2011, the 14th Festival of Professional Theatre for Children and Young People of Assitej Croatia was completed in Čakovec. The large audience enjoyed fourteen performances by professional theatres from throughout Croatia.
The expert panel of judges, Narcisa Bošnjak, Kim Cuculić and Jelena Kovačić, handed out awards in several categories:

Denmark

Assitej Denmark has a new board
ASSITEJ Denmark recently constituted a new management group, elected new board members and employed a new Head of Secretariat: Mira Margaritha Cordsen.

Germany

25 years of Grimm & Grips
ASSITEJ Germany’s yearbook Grimm & Grips celebrates its 25th anniversary this year! It documents 25 years of theatre for young audiences in Germany, its theatres and the people who work there, premieres and repertoire, addresses and statistics.
Frankfurt Playwright’s Forum, 1-3 December
Again, the Children’s and Young People’s Theatre Centre in the Federal Republic of Germany invites everyone interested in Theatre for Young Audiences to come to Frankfurt on the first weekend of December to meet colleagues and get to know new plays, authors, publishers. This year’s central topic is language(s). 

Mexico

Theater for children and young people in Mexico
Theater for children and young people in Mexico is becoming more recognized as a serious artistic activity that can attain a high level of quality.This has resulted in an increase in the activity countrywide and recognition from other organizations.

Serbia

Workshop for young managers in culture and theatre producers
This fall, ASSITEJ Serbia continues with the initiatives and programmes that bring together artists and creators in the theaters for children and young people from the surrounding countries sharing common or similar cultural past and language.

Spain

A new collection
ASSITEJ-Spain is preparing a new collection of theatrical texts, which is devoted to the publication in Spanish of dramatic texts by foreign authors.
The XVII Theatre Texts ASSITEJ-Spain Award
The deadline for submitting works to the XVII Theatre Texts ASSITEJ-Spain Award is November 30.

South Africa

A third Family Season
ASSITEJ SA, in collaboration with Theatre Arts Admin Collective will be running a third Family Season from the 23rd – 31st March in Observatory and  Vrygrond, Cape Town, South Africa and are looking for productions and workshops for families with children in the following age groups: 0 – 3 yrs; 4 – 6 yrs; 7 – 12 yrs; 13 – 15 yrs; 16+.

Sri Lanka

Activities for International Children’s Day
Assitej Sri Lanka Centre and Lanka Children’s and Youth Theatre Foundation (LCYTF) organised theatre performances on 10th and 12th October for the young audiences to commemorate the World Children’s Day.

United Arab Emirates

“Color Trick” receives 6 Awards out of 11 Awards in Asila Festival (July news)
At the 8th session of Asila International Children Theatre Festival held in Morocco, Sharjah Theatres Group’s participation show “Color Trick " won lion’s share of festival awards. The show received 6 awards out of 11 ones presented in the festival.

United Kingdom

In October members of the Board of TYA -UK Centre of ASSITEJ travelled to Kilkenny in Ireland for the third annual Gathering.This mix of shows and discussion is highly valued as a meeting place for TYA practitioners from across the 'Islands at the Edge of the World'. 1-این وبلاگ قرار است در آغاز پلی باشد برای ارتباط بیشتر اعضای انجمن تئاتر کودک ونوجوان و شاید بعدها تبدیل شدن به یک سایت جامع درباره ي هر آن چه به تئاتر کودک ونوجوان مربوط می‌شود.
2-یک وبلاگ مانند هر رسانه ي دیگر، فقط با ارتباط با مخاطب است که می‌تواند به زندگی خود ادامه دهد.
3-در رسانه ي موفق، ارتباط دوسویه است. پس خواننده ي این وبلاگ، یعنی دوستداران تئاتر کودک ونوجوان ، باید که با فرستادن نظر، خبر،پیشنهاد،مقاله،عکس،گزارش آن را پویا نگه دارند؛ چرا که این وبلاگ، یک وبلاگ شخصی نیست که فقط بازتاب اندیشه ها و احساسات یک فرد را به دوستان انتقال دهد؛این یک وبلاگ گروهی است.
